So what does 12 weeks of training hard and dieting look like? In reality it’s training up to eight times a week, both cardio and weights sessions. It’s preparing batches of meals up to three times a week. Cooking bulk lots of pork, fish, mince, chicken and vegies galore.
I discussed what was involved in my 12 week preparation here in more depth.
I also compared these images also. Which capture my physique just after my last competition back in September 2012.
Oh and one last thing – a comparison that I was most keen on seeing. The one between my first competition (September 2012) and my second in May this year. I was keen to see what a different diet and form of training can do for my own physique.
So there you go! Just a little comparison as to what physical changes can happen to your body in as little as 12 weeks with some hard work! ;) Next I’ll be showing you what my body looks like a month after my competition, and the realities that you can’t look exactly the same as you do on stage all the time.
