If you’re anything like me, you love a planner and getting organised for the year! #stationaryaddict So, as soon as November & December roll around, I start to think about what planner/diary I’m going to have for the new year.
This year is no different. Lately, as I’ve set up my own business I’ve been using electronic apps on my phone more for managing bigger projects, but when it comes to actual appointments and daily to-do /tasks, I tend to still lean towards pen and paper.
When it comes to goal setting & planning – I feel that writing things down is a much more natural & cathartic approach – and people tend to stick to goals more. (Maybe that’s just me).
When it comes to diaries & planners there are plenty of options to suit your lifestyle – week-to-view, day-to-view, hard or soft cover, spiral bound, there’s goal setting & wellness diaries, undated diaries and more.
Let’s jump in and have a look at a few I’ve found on the interwebs…
Mi Goals 2018 Diary: Available in soft and hard cover, these diaries are the bomb! I had one for my 2017 diary and loved it. It’s got sections for purpose & vision planning, 10x goal setting templates, week-to-2-page spreads, monthly calendars, notes pages and more.

Curation 2018: Lifestyle Curator that combines more than 10 practical life-planning tools to help you take charge of your life and make positive choices that lead to a happier, more fulfilled you.
I spoke to Alex, Saint Belford co-owner, about how Curation 2018 came about.
“Curation 2018 was inspired by a personal case of burnout. Earlier this year, I experienced a pretty nasty case of burnout which forced me to take time off work. It also took a toll on my mental health but it was the wakeup call I needed.
“I knew that my experience wasn’t an isolated one. So many people were crashing and burning (physically and mentally) around me because they weren’t reserving enough time for themselves. That’s what sparked the fire inside me. I wanted to create change.
“Since switching up my lifestyle and making the conscious decision to put my wellbeing first, I decided to create a diary (not your traditional kind) that empowers others to do the same”.
